I got pulled over today by a government vehicle so I wondered what law I had broken on my bicycle. The driver was interested in my Flash Flag and wanted to know where to get one!

Since I have mounted a Flash Flag on my bicycle I am happy to report more motorists give me more room when... they overtake me. Motorists go around the flag, instead of around me. So I encourage folks who share the road with motorists to consider getting a Flash Flag too.

It is highly visible to both the cars behind me and the ones coming at me from the front. I have rigged the Flash Flag so that it sticks out to the left side. I don't care what other cyclists do, I want to be seen, to have a chance of the cars seeing me in plenty of time to avoid hitting me.

Horizontal bike flag is the best product to stay cars away from you on bike road. The reason is simple, drivers do not want any scratch on the side of their car. Then they stay much more away from you then without using the flag.

Reflectorized clothing and a "Flash Flag" are also good attention getters.

This is really valuable tool when riding in traffic. It gives drivers a better idea of the room that a cyclist needs. The Arm n' Leg Band is a great way to keep your pants from getting caught in your chain ring or useful on your arm as another reflective piece.

I find the Flash Flag to be very effective in having motorists give me more room. Whether it's because they see me better, or because they just don't want to risk scratching their vehicle, it's a simple device that achieves its purpose, including in the daytime where only a few LED flashers are bright enough to be effective.
